Ah, the Happy Homeowners! Meet the Hurleys.

When Terry and Joyce Hurley saw a Homeway Home for the first time, they knew they had to have one of their own.

That day is here. The Hurley’s new home is finished and now on-site in rural Lewistown. The final painting touches are being applied and the move-in is expected this month, Joyce said recently.

“We have nothing but good things to say about our experience with Homeway. We could not have asked for anybody better to guide us along the way than Bruce Leman and James Knapp (in the Goodfield Model Home Center). They found a floorplan that met our needs and it all has been wonderful,” Joyce said.

It took four months from start to finish and that includes a delay of nearly a month because wet weather turned the unfinished property where the building site is into what she described as “a muddy mess.”

But when the opportunity arrived, the workers were there on the site, “even on Christmas Eve,” Joyce added. “That they could get the house finished that quickly is great and frankly, it is what persuaded us to go with Homeway.”

The Hurleys already owned the land and knew they were interested in Homeway after visiting one of its homes about eight years ago. They knocked on the door of a family they knew had a Homeway Home and asked if they could see it. “They let us in and showed us around. They were happy with it. We knew then that’s what we wanted. It just took us longer than we thought it would,” Joyce said.

The Hurleys recently recommended Homeway Homes to another couple. “I hope they use them. I think they’re great,” she said.
