With spring weather finally here, now is a great time to tackle those big outdoor tasks you’ve been thinking about. It’s also a perfect time because you probably have a house full of family members who are looking for things to do.
- Build a Bird Bath: One of the most beautiful things that you can do for your garden is to add a bird bath. And, you don’t have to spend a small fortune to get one, using a large and small planter. The large planter serves as the base and is filled with soil, while the smaller planter is placed inside on top of the soil. Then fill the small planter with water, and plant flowers in the soil of the large planter.
- Create a Garden Path: Spend the afternoon adding a beautiful new garden path to your flower garden. This is a wonderful way to spruce up your garden area and it adds value to your property. All it takes are some paving stones and/or gravel with a little elbow grease – and you can easily finish in one day.
- Plant a Pallet Herb Garden: If you really want to do something that will add to your garden, why not plant an herb garden? A DIY pallet herb garden is simple and you can have it finished in an afternoon. All you do is mount (or prop up) a wooden pallet vertically and use horizontal slats to hold your various plants.
